4. decorative plaster is a rather durable way of processing walls, the color scheme is extensive, the application process is simple and the result does not require special care;
5. MDF and PVC panels are a very effective way to decorate walls or part of them in the hallway in a short time. There are three types of such panels - tiled square, typesetting rack and sheet panels. This is an inexpensive and sufficiently durable material that will be easy to mount yourself. But it is important to pay attention to the degree of moisture resistance of the selected type of panels.

Linoleum is divided into household, semi-commercial and commercial, depending on the level of wear resistance. Household linoleum is not suitable for hallways because of the frequent exposure to sharp objects such as stilettos and heels.

Laminate - if you choose this method of flooring, it is necessary to give preference to moisture-resistant, durable and maximum wear-resistant options. The joints of laminate elements are exposed to particularly strong moisture; use a special moisture-resistant grout.

Tile - a durable and reliable option for flooring, which does not require much effort when leaving. If you choose ceramic tiles, then give preference to porcelain stoneware - it is stronger and more durable than ordinary tiles, protected from slipping. Stone tiles are not cheap (especially when it comes to natural stone), a method of finishing floors, but the most durable and reliable.

If your hallway is spacious enough, you can use a combination of flooring - in the most loaded part use tiles, then lay a laminate, linoleum or floorboard.

Ceiling

In principle, the decoration of the ceiling in the hallway is not much different from the choice of material for other rooms of the dwelling. You can be guided by your own preferences and taste preferences, as well as financial opportunities.

Types of ceilings for the entrance hall:

• ceiling finish.

The stretch ceiling is easy to maintain, durable and represents an absolutely flat, smooth surface.
