Apartment in Madrid - bright interior with original decor

We invite you on a tour of the originally decorated rooms of the Spanish apartments. The apartment, located in Madrid, can serve as an inspiration for those homeowners who prefer a light and even snow-white interior palette, respect a non-trivial approach to wall decoration using art objects and appreciate comfort, coziness and freshness in the images of rooms with different functional purposes.

Penetrating through the front door to the apartment, we find ourselves in a snow-white narrow and long corridor. The very first room in the Spanish apartments gives a considerable idea of how the rest of the rooms will be decorated. The snow-white finish of the ceiling and walls, the same color of the doors, warm wood shades of the flooring - all these methods of interior design will be repeated both in personal, common and in utilitarian rooms of a Madrid apartment.

The highlight of the interior of the entire apartment are original paintings with clear geometry, but at the same time very expressive texture. Bright, saturated colors, original presentation - against a white background, such an art object looks especially advantageous.

Through the open doors in the corridor we penetrate into a small kitchen space, decorated in the spirit of the whole Spanish apartment in snow-white tones. The kitchen with white smooth facades is diluted only by the integration of household appliances and sinks. The angular layout of work surfaces, storage systems and equipment allowed to fit a fairly spacious island in a small kitchen. And even in the kitchen space, we see the use of the original wall decor - the colorful tones and texture are reflected in the kitchen aesthetics.

Smooth facades of kitchen cabinets do not have fittings, which gives them a very modern look. Such a performance of kitchen cabinets - without handles, on magnetic closers, is characteristic not only of modern style, but also of any manifestation of minimalism in the interior.

Throughout the apartment, and in the kitchen area in particular, much attention is paid to the organization of the lighting system. In addition to the lamps built into the suspended ceiling, the kitchen has a pendant lamp of an original industrial design.

The next room during our tour will be the largest and most versatile room in the Spanish apartment - a living room, which, in addition to the recreation area, combines the roles of a dining room and a music workshop. And again, before us are snow-white walls with only one decoration - bright art objects of large scale. Furniture in the living room and dining area was selected according to the principle of maximum comfort and ease of use. At the same time, the dining area, represented by a snow-white dining group on a metal frame, and the relaxation area with two light-beige sofas, look harmonious and attractive.

The comfortable and cozy atmosphere of the living area of the owners owe two spacious sofas with soft pillows, a low coffee table and carpet with a long pile. In such a living room you can comfortably not only gather in the evening with the whole family, but also receive guests on a day off.

The color of the textile for the sofa cushions was not chosen by chance - it exactly repeats the color of the sections in the picture hanging on the wall of the common room.

In the dining area, in addition to the dining group, there is a segment of music lessons. An open plan allows you to enjoy music while relaxing on the couch in the living area or sitting at the dining table in a large company.

Along a long snow-white corridor, we move into another small kitchen room, decorated in the same vein as the kitchen that we "visited" earlier.

Snow-white smooth facades of kitchen cabinets, built-in lighting systems, only the most necessary household appliances and work surfaces - everything in this kitchen space speaks of the incredible practicality and rationality of the owners and their love for cleanliness, freshness and simple comfort.

It is not often possible to find a way to parallel layout of a kitchen set in a room of such modest sizes. But in this embodiment, such a placement of storage systems and work areas is justified by the absence of the need to install a kitchen island or dining area

From the common areas go to private rooms. Before us is a snow-white bedroom with furnishings close to austerities. Only a comfortable bed and two small bedside tables made up the entire bedroom furniture, dazzling with its whiteness. The only and invariable decoration of the room is wall decor in the form of textured panels with bright colors that we already know.

Near the bedroom there is a bathroom for parents. Here, the snow-white finish, which has become a tradition of the Spanish dwelling, is interrupted by the dark gray surface finish with mosaic tiles.

Strict forms, laconic decoration and the complete absence of any decor gives an idea of the practicality of the owners, their approach to the design of premises that are purely utilitarian in nature.

The next room is a children's bedroom. The decoration and furnishings of the room are not much different from the rooms we saw earlier, only insignificant decor and accessories indicate that a child lives in this snow-white idyll.

Absolutely white and smooth storage systems without any fittings allow our gaze to glide around the room’s surroundings without delay. In the bedroom there is access to the bathroom, which we will now look into.
